The event was the promotion of the new range of products of ‘Neutrogena’. Prachi Desai the brand ambassador of ‘Neutrogena’, was recently spotted promoting their new range of skincare products. At the event she also reveals the secret behind her beauty & talks about her role in the upcoming film ‘I, Me Aur Main’.
Prachi Desai Launches Neutrogena’s Ultrasheer Complete UV Moisture (bhumika)
I attended the launch of Neutrogena Ultrasheer Complete UV Moisture SPF 50 yesterday at its flagship store in Lower Parel..the new product was unveiled by its Brand Ambassador Prachi Desai.
She did share her summer care tips..and also that wearing a sunscreen is a MUST for her..she used the Neutrogena’s Ultrasheer Dry Touch sunblock before and now after the launch of Ultrasheer Complete UV Moisture..she is using and loving it..
I also had a chat with Dr Geetanjali Shetty, Consultant Dermatologist and asked her more about the product. She said that Silica, a mattifying ingredient, which absorbs excess oil to prevent shine..is a primary ingredient in this..and hence it would be perfect for summers and oily combination skin and would not give that greasy sticky feeling as generally sunscreens do..I also asked her about how would she differentiate the Complete UV Moisture and Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock..and she said the UV Moisture also provides moisturisation along with offering protection without giving a greasy sticky feeling..so that can be the last step of CTM and a separate moisturiser would not be required when one uses this..where as the Sun Block only offers protection..and also that would be more suitable to dry skin…though both have different properties and purpose.
I also talked to Mr Manoj Gadgil, General Marketing Manager, Johnson & Johnson India..about Neutrogena and the best selling products..he said the Neutrogena Fine Fairness Mask is their hot selling one..along with their whole Fine Fairness Range..and more recently the new Neutrogena Deep Clean Blackhead Elimination Warming Treatment is making waves.
Prachi wore a white Zara dress (upper half lacey)..as she found it appropriate for the event and the brand..and tan brown peep toes. She said she does not like to wear make up on a daily basis..and is not even a Kajal/Kohl person..she only uses a lip gloss..and her sunscreen for everyday.
